Need support to use the service?

You can tell us that you require additional support on your housing register application form, by sending a web message via Contact Us - onthemove, emailing cbl@southend.gov.uk or calling 01702 215002.

If you need any help with bidding or would like someone else to bid on your behalf, you should let us know when you first apply, tell your support or social worker (if you have one) and they may be able to do this for you or, contact the Housing Team.

If you qualify for inclusion on the Home-seekers’ Register and it is identified that you require support to search for suitable properties, this will be given. This may involve an occupational therapy referral to ensure that you are being supported to be as independent as possible.

In exceptional circumstances the Council can make direct allocations.
